What's this all about?

The After Nine Show is a live open mic every Thursday from 9pm to 11pm at Lea's on the corner of 4th and Louisville in Monroe, Louisiana. All kinds of performers are welcome, from storytellers to poets to musicians to comedians to interpretive fish dancers. Nudity is preferred but not required.

Anything goes except these three things:

1. Musicians may perform a maximum of two songs.

2. Talkers may perform no longer than ten minutes.

and

3. All performers must be able to articulate in a few brief words to the M.C. just what it is they're planning on doing (in other words, no winging it just to hear yourself talk)

The rules will be bent or broken at the will of the evening's M.C., who is usually an unpredictable third level chaos magician. In a top hat.

To sign up, leave your name and a brief description of your act in the comments for this week's show.

May God have mercy on your doomed soul.
